Warren County is named for General Joseph Warren, a Massachusetts Revolutionary hero killed at the Battle of Bunker Hill. Warren is a county proud of her friendly "good neighbors", her pro-business environment, as well as her precious natural resources. With an elevation of 672 feet above sea level in the southern Piedmont Plateau of Georgia, to 280 feet above sea level in the coastal plains region of Georgia, Warren County is Georgia's most beautifully diverse county.

Our natural resources of forest, fields, streams and wildlife are a recreational and retirement paradise. Our county has very little crime and traffic so if you enjoy peace and quiet in a relaxed atmosphere, we are the place for you. We offer those who visit with us and those who desire to retire in Warren County peaceful sites at reasonable prices. Only 6200 people live on 181,000 acres of forest, fields and clean streams.
