The seven eligible categories are Drawing, Mixed Media, Painting,
Photography, Print-making, Sculpture, & Master Craftsmanship.
All works must be original; no copies or kits allowed. Please submit
your application along with your exhibition fee of $20.00 to the

Upon acceptance into the show, you will be invited to set up your
artwork on June 2, 2007 by 9:00am in downtown Warrenton in the

place at 10:30am. A presentation to the winners will be conducted at
11:00am. The juried artwork will remain on display, but can be
purchased and picked up at the end of the show.
AWARDS:
Certificates will be awarded to winners of each category. Best in
Show awards will consist of First-$100, Second-$50, and Third-$25.
A People's Choice award ($35) will be given to the winner of a
balloted public judging. The People's Choice will be announced and
the award will be given at 2:45pm.
JURORS: Three art enthusiasts will be selected to judge in the
juried portion of the show.
SPONSORS: Art on Main, including awards and advertising, is
sponsored by Warrenton Better Hometown, the Merchants of Warrenton
and private individuals, and is an affiliate program of the Arts
Council of Warren County.
LIABILITY: The members of the team will handle entries into the
juried portion of the show with all possible care; however, they
will not be responsible for loss or damage to works while in
Warrenton or in transit. Submission of an entry in the juried
portion shall indicate an agreement on the part of the artist to all
the conditions stated in this official prospectus.
BENEFITS TO ARTISTS: Award recipients will have a press release
sent to their hometown newspaper to announce their winning. We
encourage you to use this exhibition/show/sale as an opportunity to
promote your work, see what your peers are producing and offer your
work for sale. As a further encouragement, no commission will be
charged for sales promoted by Art on Main during this exhibition.
ARTIST PARTY: Friday, June 1st from 7pm-9pm, O.B. McCorkle is
opening her home to host a party for the Art on Main artists.
Please, let us know if you plan to attend this gathering by circling
yes or no on the registration form. If you need overnight
accommodations, we suggest you stay at White Columns Inn in Thomson
(15 miles away) as Warrenton does not yet have a B&B or a
