FOR ARTISTS
Warrenton, Georgia’s Art on Main is scheduled for First Saturday,
June 7th from 9am-4pm. Eligible artists are invited to set up booth
displays in this sale. To become eligible, contact Cindy Rivers,
Events Coordinator at 706.465.9604 or email her at
events@warrencountyga.com. A prospectus will be sent to you. If
you have participated in Art on Main in the past, you are
automatically eligible. Registration is $20 and includes booth
rental AND submission for up to three pieces into the juried
competition. Out-of-town judges will give awards to eight category
winners, two honorable mentions and Best of Show winners. Cash
prizes will be awarded to Best of Show and People’s Choice winners.
Entry deadline is June 2nd, 2008.

Our appeal to an audience:
Celebrate art and be inspired in the charming small town of
Warrenton at Art on Main, Warren County's premiere Fine Art
Festival. You are invited to this one-day sale and juried
competition on Saturday, June 7 at our historic courthouse and
grounds. Renowned Georgia artists will be showcasing their original
artwork that will be for sale including paintings, pottery, folk
art, stained glass, watercolors, and much more. Let your imagination
and your desire to take home something of exceptional beauty be your
guide as you meet and visit with these talented artists. In
addition, you may cast your vote for your favorite artwork in the
juried competition where the artists will be submitting their best
in hopes of winning cash prizes. Children's artwork will be on
display at the Warren County Public Library as they join in the fun.
Street festivities welcome you, and all the antique shops are
hosting as array of specials just for this first class event. Also,
didn't you know that one of Warren County's claim to fame has always
been its home-cooking and barbeque in local restaurants?
Come enjoy the arts, antiques and things unique in Warren County.
