Elvis Was In The Building!

Mark Phillips performing as Elvis

The Warren County Historical Society hosted
Elvis night at the Warren County Cultural Center on June 21, 2008
If there was a best-decorated table award it certainly would have gone to the group with the floral centerpiece, silver, candles, and crystal. However, it was definitely a fun-for-all come as you want to event.
Carolyn Langford welcomes the audience and introduces Mark Phillips (soon to become Elvis) and his father, local businessman Walter Phillips.
The audience warms up as Elvis gets rolling
The event was certainly well attended
With all the great music, it was hard to stay in your seat, and the dance floor soon drew everybody out.
Just like old times in high school!
And, of course, all the teenage girls had to go down front and ooh and aah at The King!
Elvis shown with his three sons, his father and uncle.
Local businessman Rod Bankston can usually be found where the good times roll, as shown here while dancing with friend of the city, artist Molly Lesnikowski of Rutlege, Georgia
It's not an overstatement to say that "a good time was had by all".
