You and your family are invited to celebrate the fun at Warrenton Georgia’s Fifth Annual Art on Main Saturday, June 6th in charming downtown Warrenton on the town square. Warrenton is a short drive from Augusta or Greensboro, located a few miles south of I-20 on Ga. Hw. 278.
 
Take a short drive and spend a few hours visiting this fine art sale and show which takes place in and around the grand courthouse and grounds showcasing a uniquely talented array of regional and local artists displaying their artistic work for sale, or on display. Held from 9:00 to 4:00 pm, it also includes a juried art competition as artists compete for cash prizes and public acclaim and on display for your enjoyment.

Art on Main is a celebration of fine art and master craft featuring many gifted Georgia artists working in watercolors, oil painting, folk pottery, woodworking, metal sculpture, jewelry, photography, decorative and folk art and other creative mediums. These talented artists welcome you to drop by their booths and shop the creations of art they have for sale to grace your home. You might catch an artist demonstrating their unique craft. There will be artists with art prints for sale, note cards, Georgia style face jugs, handmade jewelry, framed paintings or prints and many other items for you to take home.
 
While visiting Warrenton, hunt for a hidden treasure at the downtown antique shops and enjoy country cooking or great southern BBQ it’s on the menu for you to enjoy. In addition, you can catch the open houses planned for that Saturday at the newly opened Fine Art gallery and Fine Crafts gallery in downtown.
