Jr. Tennis Camps Cancelled for 2017
Children 6 and up are invited to participate in learning the great game of tennis in week-long morning camps. Each camp offers skills for the children to learn using USTA Quick Start Techniques. It helps children learn the game more quickly and safely. Rackets are shorter and lighter, and the balls are lighter with lower bounce. They will be hitting the ball (and keeping it in the court) by the end of the first day! Each camp runs from 9am-11am Monday-Friday at the City Park Tennis Courts*. On Fridays, we will have a mini-tournament with prizes and awards. Snacks will be provided daily. Registration is offered online or at our office.
Fees: $20 per child per camp if they have their own junior racket.
$35 if they do not have a junior racket. We will size & buy a new junior racket for them to keep after camp.
Basic Camp July 10th-14th
They will learn the rules of the game, including scoring, rallying, serving and other techniques to win the point. Also, kids will be part of a team, so they will learn teamwork and how to get along with others. Registration opens in April!
Congratulations to:
Maggie Adams for winning the younger bracket !
Ava Mueller for being the Basic Camp 2016 Champion!
