- Market on Main hours of operation are 10:00 am – 2:00 pm every third Saturday beginning April 21, 2018.
- The Market will be setup in front of the Knox Theatre. HWI will be blocking the road at Norwood/Main and Norwood/Court Square.
- A one-time $30 fee will be required by each vendor and will provide a vendor a 10x10 space for the entire season. If needing more space, an additional 10x10 space can be purchased for $30. (This fee will be used to help advertise the market in print, on local radio and online) OR vendors may choose to pay-by-the-month: $10 due no less than one week before a Market day. First come/first serve.
- All items sold by the applicant will be reviewed and must be high quality, safe and an enhancement to the Market atmosphere. All prepared food vendors must obtain a “Cottage Food License” under Georgia’s Regulations Chapter 40-7-19. (More info HERE)
- Hometown Warrenton, Inc. volunteers will assign and manage reserved spaces. Vendors are not allowed to move spaces at any time throughout the season without the assistance and approval of a Hometown Warrenton, Inc. Volunteer.
- Set up may occur as early as 9:00 am. Break down must begin no earlier than 2:00 and no later than 2:15.
- Vendors must bring their own tables, chairs, canopies and/or display racks. Easy pop-up 10x10 tents are highly encouraged.
- Vendors must unload their supplies, products, etc. into/near their designated space and use assigned parking available at the Depot, then set up your booth. Unload/Park/SetUp system is required.
- Displays MUST be presentable as determined by Hometown Warrenton, Inc. volunteers.
- Any scale used for determining price must be calibrated.
- Vendors will display their products in a clean and safe manner.
- Vendors should operate their business in a professional manner at all times.
- At the close of Market, participants will clean their immediate area and remove all boxes, packing materials, trash, etc. If area is not clean each month, vendor may be dismissed from the Market permanently. Break down must begin no earlier than 2:00 pm and no later than 2:15 pm.
- This is not a discount market. Anyone engaging in price wars will be removed from the Market.
- Organically grown products must be certified by the State. You cannot use "organic" wording to describe your product unless is has been certified.
- Vendors are required to display a sign identifying the farm or business by name and location.
- Hometown Warrenton, Inc. Volunteers have the right to refuse vendor participation if the product does not fit the primary mission of the Market.
- A vendor CANNOT sublease or share their space at any point in the calendar year without written permission from Hometown Warrenton, Inc.
- Vendors are required to pay all applicable state and local taxes.
- Vendor may only miss a maximum of two market days throughout the season to retain space.
- Refunds will only be given if your application is not approved prior to the start of the 2018 market. Otherwise, no refunds will be given for any reason.
