The Arts of Warren County

We are thrilled to announce that the Downtown Development Authority of the City of Warrenton has been selected to participate in the Red Clay Creative Cohort (RC3), an exciting initiative through the Georgia Council for the Arts that brings communities and creative minds together to transform public spaces through the power of art!
As part of this incredible opportunity, Warrenton will receive specialized training and a $20,000 grant to create a public art project that will inspire, engage, and celebrate the unique spirit of our community.
"We are honored and excited for Warrenton to be selected for this opportunity," said Jeffrey Fowler, Executive Director. "Public art has the power to tell our community's story, celebrate local creativity, and create spaces where residents and visitors feel connected to downtown."
Through a partnership between the Georgia Council for the Arts and Springboard for the Arts, selected communities will receive guidance and support as they develop and bring their creative visions to life by October 1, 2026.
Even more exciting, Warrenton was chosen as one of only five communities and organizations across Georgia to participate in this prestigious program, joining the Cornelia, West Point, Colquitt Miller Arts Council, and Fitzgerald-Ben Hill Arts Council.
This is more than a grant—it's an opportunity to showcase Warrenton's creativity, strengthen community pride, enhance our downtown, and create something lasting for generations to enjoy. We can't wait to see artists, residents, businesses, and community partners come together to help shape this exciting project.
