About the Festival

This November, join us in celebrating 30 years of the Warren County Sportsman’s Festival—a beloved tradition that captures the spirit, history, and heart of our community. Each year, our historic downtown transforms into a lively hub of sights, sounds, and smiles, where timeless architecture meets the excitement of small-town celebration.

As you stroll around Courthouse Square, you’ll feel the charm of Warrenton come alive. South Norwood Street—once a quiet path through town—bursts with color, creativity, and local flavor. Explore rows of artisans, vendors, and performers, enjoy the aromas of festival favorites, and let the music of local artists fill the air as friends, families, and visitors celebrate together.

The festivities extend to the grounds of the old school next to City Hall, a cherished space that continues to bring people together. Once filled with the sounds of learning and laughter, it now rings with the same joyful energy—children playing, neighbors reconnecting, and new friendships taking root.

  • Kids Carnival Zone: Two exciting carnival areas will bring endless fun for families! One area features a mechanical bull ride and several bounce houses, while the second offers classic carnival games where every child wins a prize. Each attraction has a small fee ranging from $1–$10.
  • Warrenton’s Finest: Get a true taste of our town as local favorites and hidden gems showcase what makes Warrenton special. Stop by Java Jolt Coffee Café, Grab and Go Snack Shop, Divine Designs on Main, and many more—each ready to welcome you with hometown charm.
  • Shopping Extravaganza: Explore over 60 unique vendors, from artisans and crafters to local food creators. Each vendor is hand-selected to provide a distinctive shopping experience full of creativity, craftsmanship, and flavor.

We offer a unique blend of entertainment and education for all ages.
No corn on the keys, no special lights. Our roosters really love music and eagerly accompany the Chicken Man on piano as he plays his guitar and sings. This is a great show starter and people come multiple times to see it. ​What’s the difference between a rooster, hen and chicken? What's that red thing on it's head? Event goers will learn many fascinating facts as they personally meet the chickens we have on display.
