What an amazing turn out we had at our Hometown Christmas parade and event. Watching the weather report leading up to the event had us all a little nervous. It was supposed to rain. This year was our largest turnout of participants in the parade and those watching were not disappointed. From farm animals on a wagon, to lots of cool cars, there was something to capture every person's attention. I am positive the kids loved the candy being thrown as well. It did rain in the evening, but our vendors showed up and so did the people. It goes to show a great back up plan can make a great event.

The Jewell Box brought us a special event this December with the Jewell Christmas Lighting. They even invited Santa and Mrs. Claus. The kids were able to sit on Santa’s lap and Mrs. Claus handed out stockings filled with goodies. A wagon ride through the streets of Jewell to see that the lights were made even more perfect with a cup of hot chocolate or coffee from the Cozy Camper coffee vendor they secured for the night. Popcorn, hot dogs, hamburgers, and boiled peanuts were among the amazing things we got to sample while we enjoyed our night with the family. Then we browsed through the Jewell Box and came home with many goodies.
