In honor of the visit a few weeks ago… Did you know Warrenton played a part in one of the greatest goodwill tours in American history? In 1825, Warrenton had the distinct honor of welcoming the Marquis de Lafayette during his grand tour of the United States. As one of the last surviving heroes of the American Revolution, Lafayette’s visit was a nationwide celebration of freedom, friendship, and the enduring alliance between the U.S. and France. By the time he arrived in our town, Lafayette had become a living symbol of the very ideals he fought for alongside George Washington. Local citizens and veterans of the Revolution greeted him with parades and ceremonies, marking Warrenton as a proud stop on his journey. His tour across the states was more than a homecoming — it was a reminder of the sacrifices made for liberty and the shared history that binds us. Warrenton’s moment in that history reflects our enduring patriotic spirit and the deep roots of community pride that continue today. Let’s keep telling these stories that make Warrenton more than just a dot on the map — they make us a part of the story of America. Photo/Article Courtesy: Hometown Warrenton Meet the Cast..... Introducing Adi!
At just 9 years old, Adi joined ACT for our Double Shakespeare Production, and we are so thrilled to have her on stage with us! When she's not acting, Adi loves spending time with her cats, catching up on sleep, and being with her family, friends, and her brother. We can't wait for you to see her performance! Be sure to catch her in "Much Ado About Nothing" and stay tuned for more behind-the-scene sneak peeks.
