Area Children's Theatre is just 2 weeks away from their performance of A Wrinkle In Time. These children have been putting in months of practice and rehearsal; working very hard to bring our community an amazing show. This show is a cross between the book and the movie. It promises to bring the magic alive, teach us to believe in ourselves, and lean on others when we need some help. Join us a Meg and Charles Wallace go through wrinkles in time to find there father and bring him home. Of course Meg and Charles Wallace wouldn't be able to do any of it without the help of the Misses and their new friend Calvin. We invite you to come see our production!

On April 14, 2022, Warrenton got several visitors from different areas of the state. Warrenton and the Hometown Warrenton team hosted a Georgia Downtown Professionals regional meet up. During this time Jeffery Fowler gave presentation about Georgia Downtown Professionals, the group was able to take a guided tour of our wonderful downtown and enjoy lunch at El Magueys Restaurant.
We had our very first Market on Main of the year on April 9, 2022. We had an amazing turn out of vendors and shoppers. It was a very chilly morning, and the wind was whipping things everywhere, however that did not keep people from coming to see what was all happening on main street. There was a total of ten vendors, including several food vendors. We also hosted three Easter egg hunts on the lawn in front of the Welcome Center. It was fun to see the kids running around and collecting their eggs. The child, to find the golden egg, won a prefilled Easter basket. Overall, it was a successful start to the Market on Main time and we look forward to the next one.
Warren County is no stranger to film studios and a new one has recently opened in town.
Twilight Ebb, which is partnered with Indie Grip of Augusta and Southeastern Filmmakers, has joined the Warren County film community.
James Williams III, Twilight Ebb’s owner and president of Southeastern Filmmakers, is proud to call Warrenton home, even though he is originally from Maryland.
“First, I’m able to have a home base,” Williams said about bringing his company to Warren County. “I felt at home immediately in Warrenton.”
Twilight Ebb is a film production company officially founded in 2018, Williams said, though he started working on it back in 2009.
He said he wants to tell an objective story and give people a voice through that creative content.
Williams plans to bring Hollywood techniques and his knowledge about the film industry to Warren County.
To garner more interest in the film industry throughout the community, Williams is working to create a curriculum for college students.
Tammy Carden of Film Warren County said there is the possibility of a film school in Warrenton now, as well.
“The goal is to start classes this summer,” Carden said.

At our annual Warren County Chamber Banquet, we had the honor to present El Maguey Mexican Restaurant with the 2021 Business of the year award. As a business that opened its doors during a pandemic and just kept right on pushing through, they have become a well-known staple for our community. People come from all over to experience the hospitality and delicious food that is served at El Maguey.
Website is home to the Warren County Chamber of Commerce, Hometown Warrenton, Warren County Development Authority, and Warren County Government.
