Warren County is no stranger to film studios and a new one has recently opened in town.
Twilight Ebb, which is partnered with Indie Grip of Augusta and Southeastern Filmmakers, has joined the Warren County film community. James Williams III, Twilight Ebb’s owner and president of Southeastern Filmmakers, is proud to call Warrenton home, even though he is originally from Maryland. “First, I’m able to have a home base,” Williams said about bringing his company to Warren County. “I felt at home immediately in Warrenton.” Twilight Ebb is a film production company officially founded in 2018, Williams said, though he started working on it back in 2009. He said he wants to tell an objective story and give people a voice through that creative content. Williams plans to bring Hollywood techniques and his knowledge about the film industry to Warren County. To garner more interest in the film industry throughout the community, Williams is working to create a curriculum for college students. Tammy Carden of Film Warren County said there is the possibility of a film school in Warrenton now, as well. “The goal is to start classes this summer,” Carden said.
